Opened in December 2010, One Shot Coffee is a two-story, 80-seat café featuring a first floor coffee bar, a display kitchen, second level dining and a library lounge.  Intended to feel as though it has always been here, One Shot was designed to include reclaimed materials, vintage finds and specialty lighting to reflect the neighborhood’s turn of the century industrial past.  Located in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties neighborhood, the aesthetic is inventive and artistic, befitting the neighborhood’s reputation as a center of art and creative energy in Philadelphia. Most of the custom-designed millwork was fabricated from salvaged wood panels and created by local craftsman, while the reclaimed tin ceiling was culled from local suppliers and illuminated by pendant lights inspired by the gas lights of the late 19th century.
